Specifications include, but are not limited to: Specific Requirements for Table Components: 2.3.1 Tables must be B.I.F.M.A and ANSI rated. 2.3.2 Folding legs must fold in joints with knife lock and shall be constructed of 18-gauge steel, seam welded round tubular steel of 1-1/8 inch outside diameter. Knife lock legs shall form a one piece āUā shape for each of the two legs. Legs must be double welded nibbed construction for a neat appearance and to ensure a long life of rough handling and load stress. The top of the leg shall stretch from one side of apron to the opposite side. Legs must have a hold-down on each end to attached to the table top. Each hold-down must have a minimum of two fasteners. The knife lock part of the legs shall have a minimum of five hold-down fasteners that attach to the top of the table. The suggested colors are: brown, black, beige, durable non-chipping enamel electrically applied. 2.3.3 Folding table aprons shall be made of one piece all steel construction with butt weld fastened to the top with screws spaced approximately 12-inches apart. 2.3.4 The suggested colors are: brown or black in a durable, non-chipping enamel, electrically applied. 2.4 Specific Requirements for Table Bases: 2.4.1 Table bases shall be OEI 3200 Series brand with powder coating. 2.4.2 Bases must be B.I.F.M.A and ANSI rated. 2.4.3 The bases shall be built of 1-3/4-inch tubular steel feet, legs, plugs, and stringer connectors with a highly polished finish. The bases, including tubular stringers, shall be finished in powder coating unless specifically ordered without powder coating by the state agency. Adjustable glides shall be secured to the legs. All ends shall be capped with finished steel plugs brazed in place, ground, and polished smooth. Nylon glides shall be removable for carpeted areas.
