Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Health, Maternal and Child Health Branch is seeking a coordinator with expertise in issues and concerns of same day access to Long Active Reversable Contraceptives (LARC) in hospitals, clinics, and physician offices. These issues and concerns include, but are not limited to claims processing, billing and reimbursement, barriers to stocking LARC devices, and clarifying buy-and-bill policies and procedures. The coordinator will provide methods to increase access of birth control and trainings for pharmacists identified by HMIHC. Addressing these issues shall result in reducing unintended pregnancies, improving birth outcomes, and reducing infant mortality.
