Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of the RFP is to evaluate and select a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CM) to assist Minnesota State in the performance of its obligations and enforcement of its rights during the design and construction of the Armstrong Hall Replacement project located on the Minnesota State University, Mankato campus. Minnesota State reserves the right to accept or reject proposals, in whole or in part, and to negotiate separately as necessary to serve the best interests of Minnesota State University, Mankato. The RFP will not obligate Minnesota State University, Mankato to award a contract or complete the proposed project and Minnesota State reserves the right to cancel the RFP if this action is considered to be in Minnesota State’s best interest. The CM shall work with the College’s appointed Project Manager, the Minnesota State system office Facilities Unit, the Architect/Engineer (A/E) design teams, and facility user groups to evaluate the proposed design and complete the construction on behalf of Minnesota State to assure that the Project is designed and constructed in accordance with the Minnesota State Design Standards and meets the Project requirements.
