Specifications include, but are not limited to: The system shall provide a fleet card for each vehicle or piece of equipment the city owns. Cards shall also be issued to individual departments as requested for the purchase of fuel for miscellaneous shop use (lawn mowers, chain saws, etc.). Approximately 450 cards will be required. The card shall contain a magnetic strip and be similar in appearance to a credit card. It shall be necessary for this card to be used at approved outlets to make purchases of fuel, oil and car washes (if available) only. The ability for authorized City of Stillwater Fleet Maintenance employees to conduct card maintenance and vehicle inquiry through a secure internet site shall be provided. Turn-around time for cards ordered shall be no more than five days. Food items shall not be purchased using the system.
