Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Town is seeking to improve and maintain four existing garden beds located at: Still River roundabout, Rt 67/Grove St Intersection, Rt 7/Bridge St Intersection and Patriot’s Way. Services provided shall include removal and/or pruning of existing vegetation, installation of a combination of annuals, perennials and other pollinator vegetation (in keeping with the Town’s values of being a Bee City) which maintains color May through November, installation of mulch within the gardens, watering and fertilizing as needed and the biweekly weeding and maintenance of gardens. All excess materials and debris to be removed and disposed of by the contractor. All plantings shall take into consideration the safety of pedestrians and/or vehicular traffic at the given location. All plantings shall be warrantied to last the season (minimum) and be replaced as needed at the cost of the contractor during contract duration.
