Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor/vendor shall construct, provide, and perform the following: Festival Infrastructure Installation: • The Contractor is responsible for installing festival-related infrastructure, including but not limited to a catenary lighting system, a single main stage, stage lighting systems, porta-potties, and street closure devices. The festival infrastructure shall be installed along Market Street, following the layout illustrated in Attachment A. In addition, Attachment B offers conceptual design examples of various elements of this project. This includes: o Catenary Lighting System: Installation of catenary lighting, along Market Street, spanning from University Avenue to Main Street. This transformative lighting infrastructure must be designed to enhance the aesthetic appeal and safety of the area. The system must feature poles, strategically spaced 50 feet apart, standing at a minimum height of 15 feet. The installation follows the lighting plan illustrated in Attachment A. o Stage Installation: Construct and position one main stage in accordance with the specifications and location detailed in Attachment A. The stage must be designed to support the weight of performance equipment and accommodate up to 20 persons at any given time. Minimum dimensions of 16 feet by 36 feet (576 square feet), with the capability to adjust for heights from 24 to 48 inches. Surface must be weather-resistant and suitable for outdoor use. Stairs made from weather-resistant, aluminum or equivalent materials, appropriate for stage access (to be compatible with the stage dimensions and all height ranges). Guard rails for safety, compatible with the stage dimensions and safety regulations. o Stage Lighting: Install a comprehensive stage lighting system for the main stage, ensuring adequate illumination for performance visibility and audience safety. The lighting design must include a mix of front lights, backlights, and spotlights, utilizing energy-efficient LED fixtures. The control unit for the lighting system should be easily accessible and housed in a secure, weatherproof enclosure. o Porta-Potties: Provide and strategically place a sufficient number of porta-potties near the stage area and along Market Street to accommodate the estimated festival attendance. At least 10% of the total number of porta-potties must be ADA-compliant. Porta-potty placement shall be coordinated with City officials to ensure they do not obstruct emergency access routes or festival flow.
