The work includes the running track, high jump apron, long and triple jump, and the pole vault area. All work will be on a lump sum basis except any base repairs required resulting from sub-base failures that may occur while paving the existing running track surface. Base repairs will be billed based upon the actual quantities used. 1. Remove existing rubber surface and dispose of same off site. 2. Pressure clean entire track and event areas. 3. Patch low areas with court patch binder to minimize ponding of water. 4. Cut back grass from edges of track. 5. Apply a coat of 4125 at a rate of .04 gallons per square yard. 6. Install 10.5 lb.’s (3/8”) of black 1-3 mm rubber per square yard over the entire track and events in 6 lifts. Binders will be used to bond the rubber to the surface at the rate of 1 gallon per 18lb’s of rubber. 7. Install (2) two coats of coating at a rate of .1 gallons per square yard for added UV Protection. 8. Layout and paint all lines and markings as per NFSHSA specifications. 9. Must provide manufacturer and company Warranty information.
