The selected consultant will be responsible for the following items: 1. Analyze suitable future industrial land use sites within Rochester’s Urban Service Area. 2. Analyze existing residential and mixed-use land use designations to ensure Rochester is positioned to meet the housing demands cited within the Comprehensive Plan and the Olmsted County Housing Study (attached). 3. Analyze new and emerging forces shaping Rochester’s future. 4. Evaluate current priorities as set forth by the goals of the comprehensive plan. 5. Update relevant maps, graphs, and figures to reflect the most up-to-date data (see Supplemental A). As of now, the City of Rochester Community Development Department is prepared to engage the community without the assistance of the selected consultant. Consultants are encouraged to provide additional a la carte items with preliminary associated costs as they see fit.
