Specifications include, but are not limited to: ➢ The Contractor shall install a multi-directional PVC cleanout in line with the main sewer line exiting at the exterior of the building. ➢ Contractor is responsible for utility identification and location ➢ Block off work area for safety ➢ Prior to work starting, the contractor will perform a plumbing trace locate utilizing a remote transmitter or other similar tools to verify location of existing sewer line and exact location where work will occur prior to excavation. Locating the plumbing line can occur Monday through Friday, from 7:00AM to 4:00PM. Contractor will provide an as-built drawing indicating location of plumbing lines found through locating. ➢ Once the location of the sewer line has been determined, the area where work will occur will be determined in conjunction with the County. ➢ The Contractor will be responsible for all work necessary to gain access to the sewer line, and to restore the area to the same condition as prior to work commencing. This includes any removal and replacement of soil. ➢ Use shoring equipment for excavation. ➢ Excavate to sewer line and install multi-directional cleanout. ➢ Area of work must be kept organized. ➢ Spoils from any excavation work must be stored on a tarp or other material to prevent soil from damaging surrounding grass. ➢ Plywood or like material must be put down around the work area where heavy excavation equipment may harm the surrounding concrete, asphalt, planting beds, or grass. ➢ Once cleanout is fully installed, cable and camera in both directions. Video will be recorded and provided to the County. ➢ The top of the plumbing cleanouts will be capped level with the original elevation of the soil prior to any disruption. ➢ Clean up all debris or material when project is complete. Area will appear clean and presentable by County approval prior to final completion approval.
