Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1 ¼” minus top surfacing gravel; Material shall meet the requirements of Montana Public Works Standard Specifications Seventh Edition, Section 02240 1 ¼” Crushed Top Surfacing, attached to this request for bids. Bidder must have 20,000 tons of material stockpiled by June 30, 2024, within a ten-mile radius of the intersection of Sun Canyon and Barr Creek Roads, Augusta, Montana. Material will be loaded, transported, and delivered to worksite(s) by Lewis and Clark County. Bidder may use material from any source, provided that the material has been tested through representative samples and meets required specifications. Bidder will be required to submit samples and test results for acceptance by County prior to receiving payment. If the material is stockpiled on property not owned by the Bidder, Bidder shall submit with their bid a notarized storage and access agreement with the property owner that includes the landowner’s name and contact information; location of the material to include an address if one exists, township, range and section, and a map; and permission for the County to access material between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday for a five year period ending June 30, 2029.
