Specifications include, but are not limited to: Demolition: a. Demolish all existing grid-installed lighting and ceiling grid in areas at which open grid is installed. Remove support wires or other elements of those installations. b. Temporarily support any other grid-mounted items (Wifi receptors or the like). 3. Paint a. Patch all soffits or walls to which grid had been anchored. b. Paint all soffits or walls to which patches are conducted. The Contractor shall take measures to ensure that touch-ups are not perceptible as such when the work is complete. 4. Lighting: a. Supply and install downlights where denoted on the attached drawings. The downlight specification follows: MANUFACTURER: Contech Lighting PRODUCT: TDL905 Eclipse Curve Flexible Cable Luminaires PRODUCT NO.: CTL CTL9053MCF3CD-B CHORD LENGTHS: As required to sit flush with bottom of baffles COLOR / FINISH: B - Black Existing switching and programming shall be maintained; interconnect new lights with existing switches and programming as required. b. Re-mount any non-lighting devices currently mounted to the grid (eg. Wifi receptors, alarm devices). Provide support structures as required. 5. Sprinkler a. Assess the current sprinkler installation to confirm whether vertical heads were installed. Ensure sprinkler coverage is provided in accordance with the enclosed drawings. b. Provide sprinkler shop drawings for submission to the fire marshal’s office. 6. Baffles a. Supply and install the baffles as indicated in the drawings, per the specification below, and in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation guidelines: MANUFACTURER: United State Gypsum PRODUCT: Paraline Baffles Linear Ceiling & Wall System LENGTHS: As documented on the drawings COLOR / FINISH: Timbre Maple 4010 b. Note that the baffles will need to be lower than indicated in the design drawings. In addition, baffles along the South side of the space, proximate to the Pantry, will be at a different level than the typical baffle underside elsewhere; the Contractor shall transition between the two elevations with a graduated drop of baffles.
