Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Gallatin Public Works, Building Maintenance and Public Utilities would like to upgrade their current VHF radio repeater system with the addition of a “set” of voting receivers to be located at the Sumner County Emergency Communications Center. The receiver set to be provided must be fully compatible with the current system. They will include ethernet connectivity for remote control and diagnostics and programming that can be accessed through the City of Gallatin network. The bid is for a turn key system to include all equipment required to provide a compliment of three receivers (1 each, Gallatin Public Works, Gallatin Maintenance and Gallatin Public Utilities) for three (3) channels. Provider will include necessary voter cards compatible with the cities Raytheon / JPS SNV-12 voter system for each channel. Back haul will be on the cities microwave system and all equipment required to covert analog to IP on both ends will be provided by the bidder and configured to cities IP network. Leased lines will not be accepted. The bidder will provide a CommScope, DB-222 antenna and all mounting hardware to meet the ECC’s requirements for use on their tower site. The bidder will provide and install the antenna, ½” Heliax feed line and include all connectors, surge protectors, jumpers, antenna distribution system with preamp necessary to produce a fully operational system. All tower work will be performed by licensed, ensured and OSHA trained tower crews. Bidder shall offer a one-year warranty on all equipment and workmanship.
