Specifications include, but are not limited to: Vehicle Fire Suppression Systems - Dry/wet chemical fire suppression system(s) with automatic detection and actuation. Minimum of once per year inspection on installed equipment. 1. Install system (when requested). 2. Maintain systems (after installed on equipment) 3. Inspect systems – (System inspections, after installation on equipment, minimum annually). 4. Repair systems (when necessary); See the list of existing equipment below: Fire suppression systems are requested for the following equipment (existing): • Caterpillar 973C Charlie Loader • Caterpillar D6N Bulldozer • Caterpillar 826K Compactor • Al-Jon 525 Compactor • Additional (tracked) equipment and/or compactors as purchased by the landfill division.
