Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Proposer must demonstrate extensive experience and superior capability for providing those consulting services that are critical to the financial success of SWBNO’s plan. The awarded Proposer will report to the Human Resources-Benefits Department. The Proposer will be expected to attend Finance/Administration Committee and/or Board of Directors Meeting when requested. As well as special meetings related to The Plan. Board of Directors and Finance/Administration Committee meetings are normally held once a month in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Proposer will be expected to provide the following services: 1. The Consultant will provide, as requested, advice to Benefits, conduct briefings, and perform consultative duties related to SWBNO health plans. 2. The Consultant will provide day-to-day consultation on matters including, but not limited to, plan interpretation and problem resolution, and attend any meetings necessary to facilitate and assist in the management of SWBNO health and welfare plans. 3. The Consultant will attend meetings with Benefits and each of its plan carriers at least twice a year to discuss utilization, opportunities to reduce premium costs, and new programs.
