Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project will include work by Elevator, General, Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire Protection & Electrical contractor trades. The project includes: 1.Upgrading the existing elevator installations to meet the current codes and requirements of the local authorities having jurisdiction. 2.Upgrading the mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical and fire alarm system installations within the elevator hoistway, elevator pit and elevator equipment rooms to meet the current codes and requirements of the local authorities having jurisdiction. 3.Testing of all installation and verifications of correct operations with all interconnections between the elevator, electrical, fire alarm and fire protection systems. 4.Furnishing and installing retractable security gates within the Learning Resource Center
