a. Develop, execute, and implement a program to provide services to the homeless and near-homeless population. b. Conduct outreach to eligible candidates through agencies such as Camp Home, Gospel Rescue Mission, Mesilla Valley Community of Hope campus agencies, medical and mental health centers, or through justice system partners. c. Assist eligible clients with rent, utility payments, security deposits, damages and other activities that relate to homelessness/near homelessness not otherwise covered by other grant funds. As well as assisting eligible clients with car payments, cell phone bills, or bills that are past due. d. Log data for statistical research to understand how to better serve our clients. e. Provide direct client services including the provision of supportive services necessary to obtain or maintain housing; case management; assistance in obtaining permanent housing; employment counseling; outreach services; assistance in obtaining other Federal, State, and local assistance available for residents of supportive housing. f. Assist eligible clients with enrollment in the Doña Ana County indigent program through outreach efforts.
