Notice is hereby given to all interested persons that the Vernon County Board of Supervisors (“County”) will be accepting sealed bids for the purchase of approximately 9.82 acres of real property adjacent to the Vernon County Landfill property (the “Property”). The Property is landlocked. The County, due to the nature of use of the adjacent County Landfill Property will not be able to grant an easement across the adjacent County Landfill property. The County, to avoid such risks of costs associated with the Property’s landlocked nature will prioritize sale to a neighboring parcel. A secondary class preferred would be those third parties who would be landlocked and are willing to assume any risks of losses associated with seeking an easement and who are further willing to release the county from any liability related thereto.
