Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of a request for information is to obtain information, comments, or suggestions from potential bidders or offerors before issuing an invitation for bid or request for proposal. Maintenance and repairs information on an as-needed basis for the MAG Meals on Wheels and Weatherization fleet vehicles. Information will be used to determine best practices, industry standards, performance standards, product specifications, and innovations relating to maintenance and repairs on standard full-size trucks equipped with bed boxes for food delivery, full size vans and a large box truck for home repair equipment. The information requested may be used to prepare a request for proposal issued for this need and response is nonbinding. A response to a request for information is not an offer and may not be accepted to form a binding contract. MAG Meals on Wheels fleet currently has 10-12 light duty trucks with a hot and cold box for food temperature control. There are 5-6 trucks utilized in Utah County five days per week, Monday thru Friday, with 4-5 additional trucks that serve as back-up vehicles in Utah County and 2 trucks in use in Summit County. All vehicles are equipped with hot and cold boxes on the back for food temperature regulation. MAG Weatherization fleet currently has 3 cargo vans, 1 F-150, and 1 big box diesel truck. All are used regularly. MAG Fleet services would include regularly scheduled preventative maintenance, unforeseen repairs and service. Please provide information about roadside service, if available.
