Demolition • Remove and dispose of all existing decking & ramp • Any damage to existing building due to decking removal will be repaired by the contractor at no cost to the fire station Decking Replacement • Replace existing 32’x10’ wood deck & ramp with treated lumber • Replace existing trex decking with new trex decking (color to be approved by owner) • Replace handrails with new vinyl handrails to match existing handrail or close to the existing color • Seal existing gutters and down spouting on existing station in area of deck Options • (1) Construct new 4’ wide set of steps leading to a 5’x10’ landing platform continued with another set of 4’ wide steps to the lower walkway, cover all wood joists with trex joist butyl deck tape • (2) Construct a new 10’x32’ metal shed roof with a minimum 4/12 pitch with gutter and down spouts Contractors Requirements • Contractor to provide License, Proof of Insurance and Workers Compensation • Contractor to provide permits • Contractor to provide all labor materials approved by owner • Contractor shall be responsible for removal of old materials and site cleanup • Contractor shall guarantee to perform the services offered no less than 60 days from the date that the contractor is awarded the bid
