Fire Alarm System construction will upgrade the system to meet current code requirements. Elements include: • Demolition of the existing fire alarm system and components, including but not limited to: control panel, annunciator panel, pull stations, horns/speakers/strobes, smoke detectors, heat detectors, CO detectors, and additional miscellaneous items. • Installation of a new digitally addressable fire alarm system and components to replace existing areas and provide additional coverage in non-code compliant spaces, including but not limited to: control panel, annunciator panel, pull stations, horns/speakers/strobes, smoke detectors, heat detectors, CO detectors, and additional miscellaneous items. • Equipment replacement will occur in both the terminal building and the Snow Removal Equipment (SRE) building. • New system will be tied in to the existing airport fire alarm infrastructure network. • Installation of new handholes, conduit, and cabling across the airfield to provide new cable path from Terminal to ARFF facility. • Existing building fire alarm system will remain operational by area within the work scope until the new system is in place, tested and functional. Demolition by area will proceed only after new system has been accepted by the Ashwaubenon Fire Department. • Before demolition occurs, written acceptance from the Airport for the demolition plan will be obtained. • The new system will be integrated into the existing airport-wide system via new single-mode fiber.
