Specifications include, but are not limited to: Engage and support families in high need communities serving Arizona’s most disadvantaged students in accessing educational resources and opportunities leading to accelerated language and literacy outcomes. 4.1.1 Provide all services in a linguistically appropriate and culturally sensitive manner and in a manner that recognizes ADE’s vision and values. 4.2 Provide services that perform one or more of the following cross-agency collaboration and coordination efforts of existing family engagement resources and supports needed at both the state and local level: 4.2.1 Expand regional family engagement literacy hubs; or 4.2.2 Expand community-level family engagement literacy hubs; or 4.2.3 Expand family engagement literacy hubs in high need communities; or 4.2.4 A combination of the above-mentioned pathways 4.3 Create and disseminate a family engagement inventory to assess the availability of family engagement and early literacy opportunities and resources across Arizona. 4.4 Implement and disseminate family engagement pre and post questionnaire to assess parent capacity and knowledge of family engagement resources and early literacy practices. 4.5 Provide evidence-based direct services, resources and training to providers and families in high need communities. 4.6 Work collaboratively with the Arizona Department of Education to provide evidence-based support to identified early learning programs, local education agencies (LEA) and early education programs. 4.7 Report on a regular basis, on a timeline established by ADE, the following: goals, progress on goals, services provided, professional learning delivered, and other appropriate data as requested.
