The District seeks bids from qualified contractors or suppliers to supply and install fine bubble membrane diffusers on the current aeration system operating in the facility. The Jordan Basin Water Reclamation Facility has been in operation for nearly 12 years, and facility staff have determined that the minimum air flow required to prevent diffuser fouling on existing ceramic diffusers is detrimental to process and aeration control. JBWRF is seeking to replace 9” ceramic fine bubble diffusers with membrane fine bubble diffusers to allow better process air control and optimization of turbo blowers supplying the air to each basin. This project is intended to replace the diffusers only, while maintaining the existing air distribution piping and grid configuration.
