The Department of Natural Resources is seeking bids for: The work covered under this solicitation shall consist of the labor, equipment, materials, tools, transportation, and incidentals necessary to: This contract is for dozer, excavator, skid-steer, and maintenance graveling work on state forest roads in the Northeast region. See the attached bid group maps for the locations of the main forest roads where contractor may be called to work. Occasional work may occur on Minimum Maintenance Roads (MMR’s), Forest Access Routes (FAR’s) and other DNR roads in the same geographic area as the main forest roads. Forest roads generally have a 16-18’ driving surface, with limited turn outs located along the roadway. Typical types of work include, but are not limited to: Washout repair, Ditch cleaning, Culvert clearing, Culvert installation, Spot gravelling, Gravel exploration.
