Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Vendor shall perform burial services for unidentified, unclaimed, or indigent bodies in the County Medical Examiner’s possession. B. Burial services shall include securing a burial permit, obtaining a casket, locating an available cemetery, transportation of the remains and actual burial of the remains. C. Services shall be available on as need basis. D. Vendor must list make, model and year of transport vehicles to be used and must show availability of at least ONE at all times. E. Vehicles shall be supplied in good condition and in a manner approved by the County. Vehicles to be supplied may include large hearses, conventional ambulances, station wagons or vans. Panel trucks shall not be acceptable. Vehicles must display a valid inspection decal issued by NJ Division of Motor Vehicles and must be properly insured. All vehicles shall be subject to periodic inspection and approval by the County.
