Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Jefferson, Parks and Recreation, herein referred to as City, is requesting sealed bids for swimming pool sanitation chemicals for use in the operations of the City’s swimming pools located at Memorial Park and Riverside Park in Jefferson City, Missouri. The Memorial pool is approximately 450,000 gallons and Ellis Porter/Riverside Pool is approximately 360,000 gallons. This request is for the purchase of 10% Sodium Hypochlorite(liquid chlorine) and Muriatic/Hydrochloric Acid during the 2024 pool season.Memorial Pool has two (2) 300-gallon specific gravity chlorine tanks and one (1) 165-gallonspecific gravity acid tank. Ellis Porter/Riverside Pool has one (1) 300- gallon specific gravity chlorine tank, one (1) 165-gallon specific gravity chlorine tank and one (1) 105-gallon specific gravity acid tank.
