Specifications include, but are not limited to: Respondent shall be the sole supplier and/or coordinator of the inmate healthcare delivery system at the Waupaca County Jail. Respondent shall be responsible for all medical care for all inmates (except Work Release inmates, who shall, when in the Facility, receive only emergency care from the provider). The term "health care/medical care" includes "mental health services" and "dental care." The Respondent’s responsibility for medical care of an inmate commences with the commitment of the inmate to the custody of the Facility and ends with the release of the inmate. Objectives a. To provide data necessary for the evaluation of competitive proposals submitted by qualified firms. b. To provide a fair method for analyzing submitted proposals. c. To result in a contract between the awarded Respondent (unless all proposals are rejected) and County that will provide: 1. Quality health services for inmates in the custody and control of the Facility; 2. Development and implementation of a healthcare plan with clear objectives, policies and procedures and with a process of documenting ongoing achievement of contract obligations
