Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of Corrections, Division of Health and Rehabilitation Services (HARS) is soliciting proposals for evidence-based substance use disorder treatment services in the Fairbanks and Mat-Su Valley (Wasilla/Palmer) communities for individuals under the supervision of the Department but eligible for furlough*. The contractor will ensure that all persons working under this contract meet the State’s requirement for State licenses and certification, and that they are fully qualified to perform services delineated in the contract. Offeror(s) must propose services that meet the Department’s substance use disorder treatment program minimum requirements. The successful offeror(s) must provide up to 10 beds for each treatment program and within the parameters of the scope of work. *Furlough Defined: An individual who is on furlough status is someone who is placed at a Community Residential Center (CRC)/Residential Treatment Center (RTC) prior to the firm release date that allows for the reintegration of the offender into society for the purpose of continued educational training, employment and/or treatment.
