Specifications include, but are not limited to: Street Maintenance is seeking a term contract with qualified firm(s)to provide high performance concrete and asphalt cold patch road materials. Cold patch materials are used in resurfacing, repairing and maintenance of City streets, alleys walkways, parking lots, etc. The resultant contract will be used as needed by various City departments and divisions including but not limited to Field Operations, Transportation, Facilities, Engineering, Water Services, Community Housing, Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services. 3. REQUIRED SPECIFICATIONS High Performance Concrete Cold Patch: • Concrete cold patch material must be grey in color. • Concrete cold patch material must be capable of being used for repairing potholes, chips and cracks over 1 inch wide and greater than ½ inch deep in cement and asphalt pavement, slab or deck surfaces. • Concrete cold patch material will be used to repair roads, highways, street, airport pavements, parking lots, bridge and parking decks, sidewalks and floors. • Concrete cold patch material will be used in most weather conditions and must adhere in cold and damp conditions. • No mixing, heating or special installation equipment should be required in installing the concrete cold patch material. High Performance Asphalt Cold Patch: • Asphalt cold patch material must be black in color. • Asphalt cold patch material must be capable of being used for repairing potholes, asphalt chips and other pavement cracks over 1½ inches wide. • Asphalt cold patch material will be used to repair roads, driveways and walkways. • Asphalt cold patch material will be used in most weather conditions and must adhere in cold and damp conditions. • No mixing, heating or special installation equipment should be required in installing the asphalt cold patch material.
