This Request for Proposal is issued by Purchasing Service for the University of Minnesota; Department of Facilities Management (FM) on the Duluth Campus to provide moving and hauling services as requested. Facilities Management supports the academic, research and service mission of the University of Minnesota Duluth by developing, enhancing, and preserving the physical assets of the campus. Work under this contract can include moving employee’s belongings and furniture from one office location to a different location on or off campus; moving multiple employees or an entire department; moving equipment from one location to another location on or off campus; disposing of unwanted materials, equipment, or furniture; cleaning out and disposal in mechanical areas; and other special projects as described in scope of work. Estimated annual usage is approximately $90,000, but may vary from year to year depending on need.
