Specifications include, but are not limited to: Flower Creek 16: This unit was salvage harvested by tractor logging system in May 2020. There are forest roads that are drivable through the planting unit. The average elevation for this planting unit is 2,500 feet. The aspect is NW with slopes 10-30%. The area to be planted is 42.1 acres and will be planted with a 14x14 foot spacing for a total of 9,440 seedlings. There will be approximately 2,400 ponderosa pine and 7,040 western larch seedlings. Scalping will be required to a standard 6-inch clearing. There is adequate ground material to provide microsites for seedling protection and ideal planting spot location but may have to move small material to create microsite and maintain spacing requirements. Antice Central: These two units were harvested in the winter of 2019 using seed tree prescriptions. Slopes through the unit range from 40%-55% slope. Brush and logging debris in the planting units are at moderate levels. Approximately 6,160 trees are to be planted, totaling 47 acres. This unit will require a 6” scalp for tree planting. Mollywood: These units were harvested in the summer of 2021 using seed tree and clearcut prescriptions and mechanically site prepped in the summer of 2022. Slopes range from 5%-30%. There are approximately 25,080 trees to plant across six units, totaling 146 acres.
