Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The contractor shall consider all existing conditions and take accurate measurements to determine proper equipment placement in the provided space. All dryers and connections must fit within the current opening. 2. The contractor shall properly dispose of any excess materials that are not needed. 3. The contractor must remove old existing dryers and dispose of them. 4. The contractor will deliver in an area where inmates are located. For this reason, all delivery trucks will be searched. 5. Delivery and installation should be coordinated with the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office reserves the right to delay the installation of equipment until all necessary preparations can be made. All deliveries are to be between 7:00 am and 3:00 pm Monday through Friday. 6. A warranty that carries a three (3) year minimum guarantee against defective materials and workmanship from the date of acceptance and includes 100% labor and materials coverage for at least three (3) years. In addition, a 10-year warranty for the frame, basket, shaft, bearing and seals. 7. Brand names used are to establish a standard of quality and to match existing equipment. If necessary, a product list and specifications may be requested by Gwinnett County to determine equivalency. Product details should be provided upon request within five (5) days. Failure to provide the requested information may result in the rejection of the bid. 8. Gwinnett County shall be the sole determinant of the acceptability of all approved equivalents. 9. Upon award of the bid, delivery of equipment to the Sheriff’s Office should not be more than 90 days.
