• Full Blanking Line – The blanking line must be capable of uncoiling raw aluminum and cutting blanks for plates. o The State requires plate sizes of 6”X12” and 4”X7” with plate mounting holes and corner radius cut off. • Digital Printer – The printer must be capable of meeting annual capacity of approximately 135K motor vehicle plates and 4,500 motorcycle plates per year, up to 2,000 plates per hour leveraging a digital printing process. o Digital Printer should be able to switch between plate designs without using preproduced sheeting. • Embossing Station – The embossing station must be capable of embossing both 6”X12” and 4”X7” plate sizes and must be capable of meeting annual capacity of approximately 135K motor vehicle plates and 4,500 motorcycle plates per year, up to 2,000 plates per hour. o The state requires embossing tolerance of 0.2mm on the preprinted characters. • Plate Bagger with Conveyor – The bagger must be capable of meeting annual capacity of approximately 135K motor vehicle plates and 4,500 motorcycle plates per year, up to 2,000 plates per hour. o Unit must be able to bag plate size of 6”X12” and 4”X 7” • All required hardware and software must be included in the proposal to operate the license plate production line beginning to end.
