A. All unflavored low-fat milk furnished and delivered to the Fulton County Schools shall meet the following requirements: 1. Grade A 2. Pasteurized and homogenized. 3. Milk fat content of not less than 1% 4. Vitamin A and Vitamin D added. 5. Acidophilus (optional) added. 6. Not less than 8.25% milk solids (non-fat) B. All skim milk furnished and delivered to the Fulton County Schools shall meet the following requirements: 1. Grade A 2. Pasteurized and homogenized. 3. Milk fat content of not more than 0.5% 4. Vitamin A and Vitamin D added. 5. Not less than 8.25% milk solids (non-fat) C. All orange juice (8 oz. & gallon) furnished and delivered to the Fulton County Schools shall meet the following requirements: 1. 100 % orange juice, unsweetened 2. All-natural orange juice must have the color typical of fresh squeezed juice and free from browning or oxidation. Juice should be practically free of defects, without coagulation, noticeable seed particles, and a normal flavor. 3. Preference will be given to the Florida Sunshine Tree approval, but FCS will accept the Florida Seal of Approval 4. U.S. Grade A 5. 8 oz. (1/2 pint) cartons must meet the same requirements as milk packaging.
