Provide an individual responsible for recruiting and hiring interpreters with sign language interpreting credentials. • Provide continuing education opportunities for interpreters. • Provide mileage reimbursement to interpreters for travel at the state rates. • Provide a liaison with FCS leadership staff for overall program coordination and resolution of issues related to services for students. • Provide credentials to the Owner's Representative for approval prior to acceptance of the candidate for employment. • Work up to 40 hours per week, or as otherwise directed by the Owner’s Representative, on FCS property, during the time FCS is in session and students are in attendance. • Maintain a daily log of hours worked. • Demonstrate professional practices in interpreting. • Provide interpreting services to students based on Individual Evaluation Plan (IEP) objectives and time indicators. • Demonstrate accurate expressive and voice interpreting. • Model appropriate use of language. • Collaborate with other members of i
