Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project development, design surveys, preliminary and/or final designs, working drawings, and specifications suitable for permitting, and preparation of bid documents for projects such as building additions, building maintenance projects, minor building remodeling projects, building damage repair projects utilizing the COR’s multitechnical in-house staff. The successful Proposer shall have demonstrated experience with City or other governmental agency, performing projects utilizing at a minimum, in-house staff disciplines such as structural, civil, pavement, geotechnical, HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), electrical and energy conservation. Provide construction management, administration, and inspection services as required. Utilization of subconsultants on a limited basis is acceptable; however, the intent is for the City to have a resource available in the form of an architectural/engineering firm that has a broad base of technical expertise in-house. After review of the proposals, the City at its sole discretion will choose the Consultant it feels best meets its needs. Provide quality control review of design and bid documents done by City staff and other consultants. Provide consultation, analysis, calculation, assessment, and report writing as required for other general services engineering issues as required.
