Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Minnesota Zoo is implementing a grant-funded project designed to build empathy for animals through the use of biofacts in programs. Programs to be evaluated will include onsite zoo classes, onsite displays, and offsite booth programs. Programs will be specifically designed to address the conservation issue of wildlife trafficking and be culturally responsive, inclusive, and accessible. The Zoo is seeking an evaluation consultant with expertise in and knowledge of the use of animals and/or biofacts in programs as well as issues related to access and inclusivity in programs. Ideal candidates will also have a background in best practices for instilling empathy for animals.
