Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Annual Replacement of oil and filters with Contractor supplying the oil and the filters. • Annual Replacement of fuel and air filters with Contractor supplying the filters. • Triennial replacement of batteries with the Contractor supplying the batteries. • Triennial replacement of antifreeze with the Contractor supplying the antifreeze. • Triennial replacement of hoses and belts with the Contractor supplying the hoses and belts. • All parts, repairs and/or Fluid changes must be done with parts and fluids that meet of exceeds the manufacturer’s specifications and requirements. Any substitution of these parts, fluids or the changing of any factory settings must be approved by the ECFM representative. • Contractor is responsible for proper transport and disposal of all used fluids, filters, batteries, belts and hoses in accordance with local, state and federal regulations. • Monthly inspection of site, genset, block heater, battery charger, transfer switch and associated equipment for any leaks, vibrations, loose belts and other malfunctions • Monthly check of fluid levels with top off of fluids (oil water, battery) as necessary. • Monthly check of fuel level, notify County Fuel Department if level is low. • Monthly test run of generator and transfer switch operation (bi-monthly for the small portables). • Monthly detailed reports of findings and recommendations to be submitted to ECFM. • Detailed records, to include but not limited to, hour meter reading, voltage, amperage, and frequency readings, water temperature and oil pressure readings and other checks and records as needed shall be kept for each generator and submitted to ECFM monthly. • A prior approved set rate of charge will be established for Emergency Trouble Calls and repairs. • Written documentation shall be required for all work performed.
