Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1.1. The vendor shall plan for and provide installation of system hardware. 2.1.2. The vendor must list any hardware or other requirements needed for installation, but not included by the vendor. 2.1.3. The system must be capable of transmitting by wireless, Wi-Fi, or hardwired communications OR a combination of wireless, Wi-Fi and hardwired communications 2.1.3.1. VDHL requires our BSL-3 Suite to be wireless (or Wi-Fi). The VDHL BSL-3 Suite has 7 rooms with equipment that require monitoring. The rooms are: 2.1.3.1.1. 2401 Viral 2.1.3.1.2. 2402 TB Prep 2.1.3.1.3. 2402A Work TB 2.1.3.1.4. 2403 Food 2.1.3.1.5. 2404 BT 1 2.1.3.1.6. 2406 BT 2 2.1.3.1.7. 2407A Secure Storage 2.1.4. The vendor must install new and unused hardware. 2.1.5. The vendor must install the most current model of hardware. 2.1.6. The system must be compatible with all vendor’s one existing systems 2.1.7. The system must be capable of monitoring temperature, CO2 and humidity levels. 2.1.7.1. Temperature requirements range from -100°C to +180°C. 2.1.7.2. CO2 level requirements range from 0% to 20%. 2.1.7.3. Humidity requirements range from 0% to 90%. 2.1.8. The system must be capable of measuring to the tenth of a degree or percentage in all inputs. 2.1.9. The system must be modular to allow for the ability to be expanded upon with additional hardware. 2.1.10. Any backed-up hardware components should maintain a battery life of at least 1 year. 2.2. Software 2.2.1. The vendor shall set up and configure the software. 2.2.2. The system must be 21 CFR Part 11 compliant. 2.2.3. The system must maintain a storage capacity with a minimum of 4K readings per input channel (probe connection). 2.2.4. The system must accommodate increases in the number of equipment requiring monitoring. 2.2.5. The system dashboard must be customizable. 2.2.6. The system must be accessible from a PC, tablet or smart phone. 2.2.7. The system must be compatible with Windows 7 or newer operating system. 2.2.8. The system must be capable of operating over existing TCP/IP, LAN/WAN infrastructure. 2.2.9. The system must be capable of storing data on the cloud for a minimum of 3 years. 2.2.10. The system must have levels of redundancy to prevent loss of data on the cloud. 2.2.11. The system must be capable of storing data on a customer-owned server.
