Contracts resulting from this RFP will be State Cooperative Contacts and will be listed on the Division of Purchasing’s webpage. The scope of this RFP is intended for the purchase of satellite phones that meet the following criteria: 1. Durability and Ease of Use • Offerors must provide satellite phones that are durable and easy to use, capable of withstanding Utah’s diverse weather conditions. 2. Reliable Call Availability • Service plans should ensure reliable call availability during both emergency situations and in locations outside of cellular coverage. 3. Full Functionality Accessories • The proposed equipment must include accessories required for the full functionality of the satellite phone, including a headset for handsfree functionality, a rechargeable battery, a car charger, a portable external auxiliary antenna, and a hardcover carrying case. 4. Robust Customer Service Program: • Offerors should outline a robust customer service program to address any issues promptly.
