Specifications include, but are not limited to: Renovations/Modifications at Hazel Grove Elementary School Project may include, but not limited to (all information herein subject to change): Remove and replace existing windows. This will include changing the larger windows in classrooms to a size and style to be determined. The following shall be included: • New windows • Infill of the area • Removing and reinstalling HVAC • Painting as needed/determined • Establishing water tightness; Project may include, but not limited to (all information herein subject to change): Renovate the existing facility, establishing (3) additional classrooms, administrative area and a new entrance. Remove and replace existing windows. This will include changing the larger windows in classrooms to a size and style to be determined. The following shall be included: • New windows • Infill of the area • Removing and reinstalling HVAC • Painting as needed/determined • Establishing water tightness • HVAC shall be managed by Automated Logic Controls • Key all locks and doors to the existing Sargent key way system • LED Lighting • Floors to be polished concrete; The following may be included: • Two - 8 foot, magnetic white boards per classroom Consideration should be given to: • Existing electrical switch gear with regards to the new renovations. This must include any necessary upgrades. • Electrical drops being located in close proximity to all network drops, AV drops, and projector placements. • Equip each above mentioned area with data communication network wiring • Audio Visual (AV) drops, using a double gang box with a minimum of 1” conduit. AV drop should be placed to the right of the smart board/white board in each classroom. • The current fire alarm system with regards to the new additions and renovations. This must include any upgrades needed to meet all applicable state and local building codes. • The existing intercom system with regards to the new additions and renovations. This must include any necessary upgrades. • The existing phone system with regards to the new additions and renovations. This must include any necessary upgrades.
