Specifications include, but are not limited to: Electrical Service, Distribution and Metering 1.1 Primary power distribution system shall be designed, installed, owned, and maintained by the selected electric service provider. 1.1.1 The selected electric service provider shall work with Technical College System of Georgia and State Properties Commission to secure necessary easement rights for maintenance. 1.1.2 All trenching for power shall be coordinated with other site utilities (existing and those indicated to be installed through construction) and the Construction Professionals site work schedule. 1.2 Electric service provider shall provide a single primary meter near the Right-Of-Way and meter the entire campus at a single billing rate. This rate shall be consistent with the utility company billing rate for other primary metered customers. All primary power distribution equipment, conductors, and pathways after the meter and up to and including each building pad-mounted transformer shall be owned and maintained by the utility company at the expense of the utility company. 1.2.1 The meter shall measure the Actual Demand KVA at 15 minute increments. 1.2.2 Electric service provider shall provide max demand KVA used for the previous 12 months to Georgia Quick Start starting at building occupancy and recur yearly from that date forward. 1.3 Electric service provider shall provide a fixed KWH rate for a period of 3 years based on monthly peak demand KVA usage. 1.4 Electric service provider shall provide final terminations of all secondary power conductors to the pad mounted transformers. 1.5 Electric service provider shall coordinate installation of concrete pad and pad mounted transformers at final grade with Construction Professional for use during construction of buildings. 1.5.1 Provide all transformer protection requirements to Construction Professional. 1.5.2 Provide power step down to 120v during construction...
