Specifications include, but are not limited to:UND is soliciting proposals for a Video Platform as a Service. This solution will be used by Students, Faculty and Staff to store and stream course content. System/service has to be easily accessible by instructors/students and staff. It must allow multiple formats to be uploaded, and bulk uploading for migrating current content from existing systems. The product must be able to transcode for different operating systems and smart devices. The VPaaS must provide adequate storage with room for growth. The service will need to integrate with UND’s learning management system (Blackboard SaaS compatible and Node aware) and migrate existing assets. Closed captioning is required for accessibility compliance. Should other North Dakota University System institutions or entities wish to purchase products from any resulting contract, UND will act as the Contract Manager in accordance with NDUS Procedure 803.1.1.
