Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. KET Building Exterior Daily Duties: 1. Pick up all trash and debris from all outside areas around the building. Quarterly Duties: 2. Sweep all sidewalks, entrances, patios, and dock areas. B. KET Lobby Daily Duties: 1. Vacuum and/or sweep, wet mop, and dust the KET lobby daily. All cleaning supplies used for this purpose are to be unscented. 2. Use WET FLOOR signs (provided) while floors are wet and remove after the floors have dried. 3. Clean the glass doors and furniture tops thoroughly. The top sections of the door and window surfaces must also be cleaned. 4. Surfaces are to be dusted. 5. Empty all wastebaskets and replace liners daily. Do not throw anything away that is not in a trash container unless it is marked as trash. This includes mail tubs and boxes under desks. Weekly Duties: 1. Clean return grates and grills C. Executive Areas Daily Duties: 1. Empty all wastebaskets and replace liners. 2. Vacuum and/or sweep and damp mop the Executive common areas, conference rooms and office suites. 3. Surfaces in common areas are to be dusted. Do not dust employee desks unless you are asked to by KET. Employees will remove their desk items to facilitate dusting. D. Executive Area Restrooms 1. Clean and sanitize the washbasins, urinals, toilets, and dispensers removing all dirt, soil, and stains on both inside and outside surfaces. 2. Clean all restroom chrome fixtures with industry-approved chrome cleaner. 3. Clean all restroom mirrors. The cleaning staff must not spray window cleaner on the parabolic diffuser light lens cover over the mirror. Treat the cleaning cloth then wipe the mirrors. 4. Stock and refill all soap dispensers, towel dispensers, and toilet tissue. Do not overfill towel dispensers – load towels with the c-fold facing downward and leave a 1” space at the top of the dispenser unit so that towels will pull out freely. 5. Sweep and mop restroom floors. Cleaning staff must use WET FLOOR signs and return them once the floor is dry. 6. Extra restroom supplies are to be kept on a shelf or in a cupboard for sanitary reasons. Do not oversupply the restrooms. Supplies should not be stacked to impede the view of mirrors or other decorative items. Monthly Duties: 1. Dust all accessible baseboards. Weekly Duties: 1. Clean return grates and grills E. Green Rooms Daily Duties: 1. Empty all wastebaskets each day. 2. Vacuum and/or sweep and damp mop. 3. Surfaces are to be dusted. Clean all chrome fixtures with industry-approved chrome cleaner. 4. Clean all mirrors. The cleaning staff must not spray window cleaner on the parabolic diffuser light lens cover over the mirror. Treat the cleaning cloth then wipe the mirrors. 5. Lock doors after cleaning. Weekly Duties: 1. Install a new wastebasket liner for each wastebasket once per week or more often as needed. Do not throw anything away that is not in a trash container unless it is marked as trash. This includes mail tubs and boxes. 2. Clean return grates and grills. Monthly Duties: 1. Dust all accessible baseboards. Quarterly Duties: 1. Clean showers in the Green Room areas. F. Technical Areas Daily Duties: 1. Empty all wastebaskets each day. 2. Vacuum and/or sweep and damp mop the office spaces and common areas. 3. Surfaces are to be dusted. Clean all chrome fixtures with industry-approved chrome cleaner. Weekly Duties: 1. Install a new wastebasket liner for each wastebasket once per week or more often as needed. Do not throw anything away that is not in a trash container unless it is marked as trash. This includes mail tubs and boxes. 2. Twice weekly sweep and/or damp mop flooring that is not carpeted. 3. Vacuum carpet in offices once per week. The contractor is responsible for establishing a vacuuming schedule with KET. 4. Clean return grates and grills. Monthly Duties: 1. Dust all accessible baseboards. G. Offices Daily Duties: 1. Empty all wastebaskets each day. 2. Surfaces in common areas and filing cabinets in common areas and offices are to be dusted. Do not dust employee desks unless you are asked to by KET. Employees will remove their desk items to facilitate dusting. 3. Lock office doors after cleaning. Weekly Duties: 1. Install a new wastebasket liner for each wastebasket once per week or more often as needed. Do not throw anything away that is not in a trash container unless it is marked as trash. This includes mail tubs and boxes. 2. Twice weekly sweep and/or damp mop flooring that is not carpeted. 3. Vacuum carpet in offices once per week.
