Specifications include, but are not limited to: The project consists of major interior renovations of Sally Monserud Hall (SMH) on the campus of the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA). Exterior work under this project is limited to demolition and installation of rooftop mechanical equipment to support the interior renovations, and the installation of a sign board. No other exterior work occurs. The existing SMH is a single-story structure with basement and includes a combination of general classroom, computer laboratory, and office spaces. The existing SMH is protected by a NFPA 13 automatic sprinkler system. Renovations will create classrooms, medical simulation laboratories, and office spaces for the College of Health. Existing fire protection systems will be modified to fit the new space, and existing HVAC and electrical systems will be modified. There is no change to occupancy group, construction type, or level of protection for the existing facility.
