Specifications include, but are not limited to: TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Quantity: 250. • Must be NIJ-STD-0106.01 IIIA, NIJ-STD-0108.01 (Chesapeake) DEA-FBI Ballistic Helmet Protocol 2019 Certified. • Must have VPAM-HVN 2009, Level 3 testing. • Must have fragmentation testing equal to or greater than STANAG 2920, 1,1g Splitter: V50= 630 m/s - 2066 fps. • Helmet shell design characteristics shall be ACH-type (Advanced Combat Helmet) full cut. • Helmet shell to be black in color with matching side rails. • Helmet and padding system must be blunt impact certified by an independent lab to EN 397. • Must come with a helmet bag. • Must have a rubber edge on the bottom of the helmet. • Must have either CPP-1 or CPP-2 pad system or equivalent. • Must have CRS-2 or equivalent harness system. • The following items make up the helmet 4-point interior suspension system: double pads (hard pad and soft pad) and retention system (dial wheel for size adjustment and chin/helmet harness). • Must have a rail system that can accommodate protective visors raised, lowered, and placed in different positions. • Must be one-size fits all. • Material of the helmet must be made of Kevlar fiber. • Protective visor must be clear polycarbonate with a rubber seal to provide a liquid barrier at the visor/helmet interface. • Protective visor height measured through the center from top to bottom must be at least 170mm. • Protective visors must not limit the natural field of view, have no visual distortion, and have good light transmittance. • Helmet visor shall be treated with anti-condensation coating. • Helmet visor shall be 6mm thick and equal to MIL-V-43511C, MIL-STD-662F, V-50 rated.
