The Bernalillo County (“County”) Purchasing Section of the Procurement and Business Services Department (“Purchasing”) is soliciting proposals from Offerors to provide proposals from Independent Public Accountants (IPAs) to perform the annual financial audit(s) in accordance with the State Auditor’s Rule, Section 2.2.2NMAC. Only offerors that are qualified and in good standing with the Office of the State Auditor shall submit proposals. This audit shall be performed in accordance with auditing standards generally accepted in the United States of America, and requirements applicable to the financial audits contained in Governmental Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller General of the United States. Certain financial data schedules and other schedules will be performed as required by the Office of Management and Budget Circular A-133, Audits of States, Local Governments, and Non-Profit Organizations, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Real Estate Assessment Center, and Requirements for Contracting and Conducting Governmental Audits (2.2.2 NMAC).
