Specifications include, but are not limited to: The DNR is seeking to purchase a fish distribution tank. The DNR reserves the right to determine if deviations from the specifications below are acceptable. Vendors must be authorized manufacture representatives authorized to extend manufacturer’s warranties. Aluminum Transport Tank 1. Outside Dimensions/materials (Figure 1) a. Outside dimensions approximately: 132” (L) X 74” (W) X 37” (H) b. Front of tank will start 38” back from cab c. Outer shell constructed of 0.125 thick 5052 marine grade aluminum d. Bottom, outside walls, lids, and top of tank 2” thick filled with polystyrene closed cell foam e. Railing (Figure 2) – continuous around sides and rear of tank - Made of 1 ½” D aluminum tubing - ~ 2.5” from side of tank to inside of railing - ~ 2” from top of tank to top of railing 2. Inner Tank Compartments (Figures 3 and 4) a. Four compartments with inside dimensions approximately: 63.0” (L) x 34.0” (W) x 33.0” (H). b. Inner tank to be constructed of 0.190 thick 3003 marine grade aluminum c. Interior of the tank should have no rough edges or humps which would prevent fish from draining from tank or snag dip nets. d. All inside walls between all tanks will be 2” thick filled with polystyrene closed cell foam. e. Tank opening shall be 25” W x 56” L. One-inch Aluminum lip shall be attached to opening to accommodate insulated lid (Figure 5)
