Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC), Department of Environmental Health and Engineering (DEHE), is assisting the community of Shungnak, Alaska with the construction and expansion of a Heat Recovery System. As an integral part of this effort, ANTHC will be purchasing Insulated Heating Pipe and Fittings to allow waste heat to be delivered to the Water Treatment Plant and other buildings in the community. Pipe shall be specifically manufactured for use in heat transfer applications. The minimum service temperature range of all individual components and final products shall be -60°F to 200°F unless otherwise specified. All pipe and fittings shall be capable of withstanding the cyclic freezing of water under its rated service pressure without breaks, leaks, gross deformities, or impaired service characteristics. PP-RCT SDR11 Arctic Insulated Heating Pipe & Fittings with 16 gauge helical lock aluminum jacket, 190° degree rating. No heat trace channel. All pipe sticks are to be 20 foot lengths.
