Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. BRAKES: All brake linings to be non-asbestos type a) Cornering enhanced electronic linked braking. b) Four (4) piston callipers of the heavy duty available for police service. c) Dual front 11.81-inch diameter floating disk rotors. d) Single rear disk rotor. e) Anti-Lock Brakes (ABS). 2. ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT: To comply with FMVSS. a) BATTERY: The battery shall be fully sealed maintenance-free 12-volt AGM type with a minimum of 405 cold cranking amps (CCA @ 0 degree F) capacity. b) ALTERNATOR: Standard factory equipment; 48-amp high output with solid state voltage regulator. c) LIGHTING: Each motorcycle shall be equipped with the following factory lighting equipment: 1. LED Headlamp with high and low beam 2. Tail light 3. Brake light 4. Turn Signals, self-cancelling system 5. Flashers, four-way, integrated into turn signal switches 6. Fender tip light d) CONNECTORS: Industrial grade throughout, an electrical accessory connection shall be provided. e) HAND CONTROLS: Water-resistant switches. f) STARTING SYSTEM: 12-volt starter with solenoid operated engagement and relay required. 3. ENGINE AND DRIVETRAIN: Gasoline, similar to a Milwaukee-Eight 114 CI a) Piston displacement of not less than 1868cc, 114 cubic inch, pushrod-operated, overhead valves with hydraulic, self-adjusting lifters, four valves per cylinder and featuring EITMS (Engine Idle Temperature Management System), producing minimal vibration frequencies and magnitudes. Engine and transmission isolated from motorcycle frame utilizing a rubber mounting system. b) Sequential Port Fuel Injection. c) 6-Speed transmission. d) Fan-Assisted Oil Cooler. 4. PAINTING: Motorcycles shall be painted with high gloss acrylic enamel over suitable primer. Color shall be “Black”. 5. SPEEDOMETER: Analog and digital certified police speedometer, scale to be 0-120 MPH minimum, with 1 or 2 MPH increments, calibrated to within plus/minus 3 MPH. 6. SEAT: Deluxe solo saddle style, police type, breathable material covering, adjustable coil over spring suspension system. 7. TACHOMETER: Analog. 8. ADDITIONAL GAUGES: Analog Fuel and Oil Pressure. 9. GAUGE INDICATOR LAMPS: Pursuit lamps, high beam, neutral, oil, gear selection, low fuel, and turn signals.
