Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Provide portable toilets and all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and transportation to complete work identified in the contract including payment of all applicable taxes, assessments, and other fees necessary to service, maintain, load, haul and dispose of refuse from the identified sites. 2. Delivery and set-up shall be completed at each site no later than 5:00 p.m. on the date specified. Pickup and removal of units shall be completed within two days following the end date for the site. 3. Units shall be placed within existing screened structure or pad when available on site. 4. Repair damage or vandalism to any unit(s) within 24 hours of notification at no charge to the Department of Natural Resources. 5. Notify Owner of any repeated damage or vandalism to units. Contractor may request in writing that the unit be removed. 6. Maintain a service record log in each unit indicating the dates of service. 7. Notify Project Supervisor if vault capacities are reached before servicing dates. All extra services provided by the Contractor must be approved by the Area Supervisor. 8. MPCA SSTS License: The successful vendor must have a valid MPCA SSTS Business License per MPCA Chapter 7080. • Please attach a copy of the valid license to the Swift Event or fax a copy to 507-359-6045. Successful vendors will be notified to provide a copy of their MPCA license prior to the issuance of a notice to proceed. Failure to provide proof of license may be grounds for rejection. 9. To prevent the spread of invasive species, the exterior and interior of each unit shall be free of vegetation, debris, mud, dirt, seeds, etc., before placed on the site and prior to being removed from the site. 10. Vendors must be aware of and have any and all required permits before work can proceed. (The list below may not include all that are required.) • Blue Earth County: Vendor must obtain a permit from the Lake Washington Sanitary Sewer District prior to placement of the units on Ballantyne & Madison. There is no fee for this permit. • Le Sueur County: Vendor must obtain a permit from the Lake Washington Sanitary Sewer District prior to placement of the units on Washington Connors and both units on Washington Squirrel Nest. There is no fee for this permit. 11. All work completed must adhere to the conditions of the current State executive orders related to Covid 19. Allowed activities and work performed should, to the extent possible, be conducted in a manner that adheres to the Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health Standards and the Minnesota Department of Health and CDC guidelines related to COVID-19, including social distancing and hygiene.
